Business fiber internet: how it differs from broadband
Home broadband is "best effort": speed drops at peak hours, the IP changes on every reconnection and there is no contractual availability commitment. On the NT-Fiber Pro line, business fiber internet puts that commitment in the contract, with upload equal to download and a fixed IP.
Who benefits
Businesses that depend on connectivity to operate: VPN, cameras, internal systems and IP telephony. In these cases, the fixed IP option (Pro plan) avoids reconfiguration every time the link drops.
Plan B when fiber goes down
If you need a stable public address, you can add a fixed IP /32 over VPN to your fiber: an L2TP tunnel delivers a dedicated IP to your router, and IP-dependent integrations keep working.
